"I am a mixed media artist curious about the creative process and how it relates to our health and emotions. Driven by my own desire to heal and understand more intimately old wounds, I have been drawn to the physical properties of the materials I use and their ability to help transmute emotional energy into a physical form. Each clay body or paint color has memories of its own, a personality, a disposition. Each material lends a hand to help guide me through my emotions until I am left with an externalized piece of myself. "
